# How to confirm your email

> Open the confirmation message from Ples so you can sign in and start monitoring.

Ples sends a confirmation message after you create an account. You cannot sign in until that address is confirmed.

## Steps

    Look for a message from **Ples** (`info@e.ples.com`) with a confirmation link.

  <Step title="Click the link">
    The link confirms the address and lets you [sign in](/article/sign-in).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Resend if needed">
    If nothing arrives, open the confirmation screen in Ples and choose **resend**. Also check spam and promotions folders.
  </Step>

  Team invitations skip this step. If you joined from an invite, go straight to [sign in](/article/sign-in).
