# How to export a links report

> Download your monitored backlinks as Excel or PDF from /links-export. Filters on Links apply to the file.

Export the Links table as **Excel** or **PDF**. The file uses the same filters, search, and sort you have on Links.

## Steps

  <Step title="Open Links">
    Go to [app.ples.com/links](https://app.ples.com/links). You need **Links Table** view permission.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Filter the table">
    Apply domain, status, tag, contact, indexing, or disavow filters so the export matches what you want to share.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Excel or PDF">
    Open the export menu and pick **Excel** or **PDF**. Ples downloads the file from `/links-export`.
  </Step>

The spreadsheet and PDF include status, URL, target, anchor, LQS, and the authority metrics on the table.

  Exports are rate-limited. If you see a wait message, pause and try again shortly.

<Tip>
  For a client named David, filter to their domain first so the PDF only includes that property.
