# Login notifications

> Optionally email yourself when someone signs in, including IP, location, and browser details.

Login notification emails are **off** until you turn them on. When they are on, Ples emails you after a successful sign-in.

The message includes IP address, location, browser details, and a location map. Mail comes from **Ples** (`info@e.ples.com`) to the address on the account.

## Steps

    Go to [app.ples.com/settings/authentication/notifications](https://app.ples.com/settings/authentication/notifications).

  <Step title="Toggle Email Alerts">
    Turn **Notify me about new sign-ins** on or off. The change applies to the next login.

The same page lists your last five sign-ins (time, IP, user agent, location) so you can compare them with [Sessions](/article/sessions).

  These emails are separate from [link change notifications](/article/link-change-notifications). Login alerts go only to your account email, not to the extra recipients on the Notifications page.
